Here’s an interesting variation on the baritone uke – the 4th course is doubled, with both high and low D ringing together to give a unique sound which is great for vocal accompaniment. This example is made using Brazilian mahogany for body and neck; Indian rosewood fretboard and a headstock veneer made from figured sapele.
