Ordering Information

I prefer that orders are placed via email (or initiated using the form on our contact page) so that there is a record of our discussions and any changes you request along the way.  I am also happy to speak to customers on the telephone and/or via Skype should you wish for more of an open-ended discussion about your new instrument.

My waiting list is currently 7 months long (which means it takes approximately that long to complete from receipt of your deposit). In some situations, I can produce an instrument faster but a rush fee may be incurred (as I cannot simply delay my other orders).

Please do contact me with any questions.

Best wishes,
Robert Collins

Terms & Conditions

Your Build Slot:

Paying your deposit secures your slot in my building schedule. Please note that models, prices, options and terms in place at the time you secure a slot, apply.

Deposits:

A 50% Deposit non-refundable is payable on placing a commission. This secures you a place in my build schedule and it also secures the required materials and related consumables. As deposits represents a commitment on both sides, they are not refundable once production on your custom instrument begins. During the period from commission to production, any refunds are at my discretion. This is due to the fact that the amount of materials and consumables required varies from instrument to instrument.  I use a sliding scale and simple materials costs to calculate any possible pre-production refunds.

Your Completed Instrument:

Once your instrument is finished, you will be informed and it will ship as soon as final payment has cleared. As is standard, you are asked to pay for your instrument within 30 days. As storage space in the workshop is limited, instruments which are not paid for within 60 days may be returned to stock.
