Here’s a non-traditional uke if ever there was one. It’s a 5 string tenor, with the low G string outboard of the high one, the opposite of the typical multi-string layout. The body is American cherry for the back & sides, English cherry for the top. The neck is poplar – a very pale coloured wood, lightweight and it sands to a lovely smooth tactile finish. Ovangkol body binding and rosewood fretboard and bridge complete the spec.
