Many thanks to Ian Gough, who collected his curly maple soprano uke this weekend. Ian joined us at Muse music in Hebden Bridge for Manitoba Hal’s instore gig on Friday. This was the first date in Hal’s 2014 UK tour in support of the Grand Northern Ukulele Festival.
It was nice to be able to deliver Ian’s new instrument in such an environment. It is not often that we get to share the enjoyment of music from a great performer at the same time as meeting a new customer.
I am a member of the GNUF festival team and we are really excited to be able to bring Hal back to the UK this year and even more excited about the great festival lineup we have planned for GNUF 2014 – more info at the festival website here: www.northernuke.com
