Available now a soprano ukulele in English cherry

Category: Tags: , , ,

The body wood for this soprano ukulele is English cherry, sourced from a tree surgeon in the North of England. The wood was milled, seasoned and resawn in my workshop in Hebden Bridge.

The fretboard and bridge are UK grown laburnum – one of the hardest woods to grow in the UK.

The neck is poplar, which I purchased as an offcut from a local joinery workshop in Todmorden.

Full specification:

Body: English cherry

Neck: poplar

Fretboard & Bridge: UK grown laburnum

Nut & saddle: corian

Tuners: Grover 6B friction tuners
