The body is made from London plane, sourced from maintenance work in a London park. The neck is a very striking piece of spalted alder, with a centre stripe of English walnut.
The fretboard is made from English laburnum, salvaged from a garden in Hebden Bridge and the instrument is finished with hand-rubbed truoil varnish.
The tuners are Grover 6B friction tuners, which are smooth and reliable. It is strung with fluorocarbon strings and it has a unique tone thanks to the London plane body.
