A very pretty looking soprano ukulele with a bright, ringing tone, this instrument showcases some very attractive woods.
Starting with the body, the sapele back and sides feature a very unusual grain figure which is rarely seen. The top is European spruce and has a very even, straight grain. A pinstripe rosette and black edge binding complete the look.
The neck is made from reclaimed meranti wood, with a sapele headstock veneer which matches the body back. The fretboard is Pao ferro and is inlaid with hand cut mother of pearl marker dots.
The finish is hand rubbed truoil varnish, which really brings out the shimmering character of the wood figure.
Friction tuners suit the soprano size and the fluorocarbon strings give this soprano ukulele a bright, crisp sound.
