Soprano ukulele in Australian blackwood and spruce

This soprano ukulele has back and sides made from Australian blackwood, which has a beautiful coppery metallic sheen to the wood. The top is spruce, giving the instrument a loud, bright sound.

The top edge of the body has cream coloured binding and the sound hole is decorated with a pinstripe rosette.

The neck is khaya and the fretboard and bridge are pao ferro.

The instrument is fitted with Grover 6B friction tuners, corian nut and saddle and fluorocarbon strings.

The finish is hand rubbed truoil varnish, which brings out the beauty of the Australian blackwood.
